The Making of Vampire of Love

The “heartbeat” is Fender Jazz bass connected to Mbox2 via a Line 6 Bass Pod XT Live using Crytocercus setting. The distorted wobbly bass was same using Tetracycline setting. Both were played straight through the chord changes, then looped. The guitar part is a Gibson SG tuned to open E5 and played lying in lap with a National Rail Bar and Jim Dunlap thin pick and connected via a Line 6 Pod XT Live through the Mbox2 into an iMac. The keyboards are software settings in Garage Band. One is Cathedral Pipe Organ. The other is a Synthesizer setting… which is not precisely the sound hoped for… but….

Key of E minor. Used Power Chords on guitars and synth. Minor chords on pipe organ. Straight time, played straight.

Anticipate vocal will be added tomorrow….

Then… it may get a bit spooky….

  1. To the Wright Wang Executive Committee…I am deeply concerned that you are putting alot of ideas in this creative mind…who has been writing non stop all morning. There is a huge audience waiting with anticipation for his Vampire Vocals at the “midnight hour”…he needs to use the bathroom…eat…and rest.. to be at his finest as he performs. Based on his performance…he probably needs a raise…and I will be more than happy to volunteer…I can say …sing…”Ouiiiii”….(LOL…I can’t spell).

  2. What in the world does the printer have to do with this!!! You have all the tools you need….hair and howl! 😉

    • Need lyrics…. Studio A1M1 in downtown Shady Grove also has a lot of traffic noise at the moment. Maybe the Laundry Room wasn’t really the best option after all….

      • Word is….”the vampire”…may or may not perform at the midnight hour….he’s having printer difficulties…
Although…he is probably throwing us ALL off track ( he’s good at that)…I feel pressed to warn ALL neighbors as soon as the sun goes down….
        – Spread salt around the house
        – Wear a cross (a no-brainer)
        – Wear iron (not silver) jewelry
        – And last but not least, scatter seeds around your house because vampires like counting them and can get distracted, which will give you time to escape….go inside…lift your windows…and wait…if you all do YOUR preparations….he shall not suck the blood ….He will be confused and perform…”the greatest howl ever”…LOL
