Dar al-Islam: House or abode of Submission
Dar as-Salam: House or abode of Peace
Dar al-Tawhid: House or abode of Monotheism
Those three terms are considered equal and refer to the term describing the extent of the Muslim world.
Dar al-Hard: House or abode of War
The non-Muslim world. The dwelling place of all who do not live under submission to the will of Allah… which is what Islam means…. The dwelling place of outlaws… who refuse to live under Sharia Law.
Religion is not always bad.
Religion is not always evil.
Religion does not always demand its own way.
But… clearly… sometimes religion can be bad. Evil. Demanding. Oppressive….
That was the easy part. Now comes the test….
Read this. And everywhere that you see the word “love”, substitute the word religion.
